The visitors dropped out-of-form Herschelle Gibbs to bring in Mitchell Marsh. Harmeet Singh, who won Deccan their last game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, was out with injury and leg-spinner Rahul Sharma took his place.
For the Kings XI Punjab, who only have an academic interest dropped Ramesh Powar and Love Ablish as Shalabh and Vikramjeet Malik replaced.
